Why are contract fields missing when I try to edit my Contract?

Problem

After clicking Edit Contract, some of the Custom Contract Fields you've set up do not show up at all and cannot be modified. 

Cause

This is due to an error in setting the Adjustable? option for the Custom Contract Field to No instead of Yes. The Adjustable? option asks whether or not you would like your field to be revisable on a term-by-term basis.

Solution

Adjust the Adjustable? option using the following steps:

1. On the Contracts dashboard, click the Settings section to expand it.
2. Find the missing field and then, in the same row, click Actions -> Edit.

3. In the window that pops up, under Adjustable?, select Yes. Click the Save button in the bottom right corner.

Once you set the Custom Field to be Adjustable, you can then edit your Contract Field by clicking into your contract and then going to the Terms and Change Orders section.

Otherwise, if you set a Custom Field to be Non-Adjustable, the Contract Field will show up under the Details tab of your contract.

NOTE: If you set up your Contract Field to be Adjustable, the contents of that field will be visible in the Details tab while that term is active, but will only be adjustable from the Terms and Change Orders section.
